Kiss by Ted Dekker and Erin Healy is a novel that will hold your attention and keep you guessing until the very end. It’s a suspenseful novel about a woman named Shauna who loses her memory due to an auto accident. After six weeks in a coma that the doctors can’t explain, she awakes to find her world is not as she knew it before: she can’t remember the six months prior to her accident, her brother is paralyzed in a wheel chair with little hope of recovery, her apartment and job are no longer in her possession, she’s receiving mysterious text messages from an unknown number and a man named Wayne is attentive and caring towards her, although she has no recollection of ever meeting him. Her parents, friends and doctors are keeping secrets from her and Shauna is determined to figure out what they are hiding, even if it kills her in the process. Kiss is a novel that I would highly recommend to any one that enjoys mysteries and suspense with a Christian emphasis and a dash of romance. Ted Dekker is always able to dish up a fabulous read and you will not be able to put this book down until you’re finished!
